Meet Kris-Andre
Kris-Andre Smith is a Toronto-based lawyer and the Managing Partner of Infinity Legal.
A graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, Kris-Andre built his legal experience through work in private practice, community legal services, and public-interest advocacy. His experience has included employment and human rights matters, criminal law, immigration, and access-to-justice initiatives both in Canada and internationally.
Before founding Infinity Legal, Kris-Andre articled at a Toronto law firm and also gained legal experience in South Africa through work connected with social-impact and pro bono organizations. Throughout law school and his early legal career, he remained involved in community organizations, mentorship, and initiatives focused on making legal services more accessible.
Kris-Andre founded Infinity Legal with a simple goal: to provide clients with practical, straightforward legal advice while making sure they feel heard and respected throughout the process. He believes good advocacy begins with understanding the person behind the legal problem and being clear about the options available to them.
Outside of his legal practice, Kris-Andre continues to support community initiatives and mentorship opportunities for young people interested in law and professional careers.
How Kris-Andre works with clients
Every matter starts with what happened. Kris-Andre asks questions to understand what you want, explains the law without jargon, and tells you what comes next.
If the news is hard, you hear it straight. If something is unclear, ask. You should understand what is happening with your matter.
What Infinity Legal helps with
Infinity Legal focuses on employment law, human rights, workplace investigations, and entertainment law. If you were fired, offered a severance package, or treated unfairly at work, this is where Kris-Andre's experience applies most directly.
How fees work
Employment and human rights matters may be handled on contingency where appropriate. Workplace investigations are billed as a professional service.
Ask about fee options when you call. You will know what to expect before you decide anything.
"“…I’m very grateful he was the lawyer I chose. If I ever did find myself needing legal help again, I wouldn’t hesitate to call him.”

Every matter is different, so the cost depends on what you need. Some matters may be handled on contingency, where you pay no legal fees up front. Kris-Andre bills $250 an hour for certain matters. Your first consultation is free. Call us and we’ll explain which option fits your situation before you decide anything.
-
It depends on what happened, and no one can answer that honestly before reviewing the facts. If you were fired, offered a severance package, or treated unfairly at work, Kris-Andre can review what happened, explain what the law says, and tell you where you stand.
-
A deadline on the offer does not mean you should sign before you understand what you are giving up. Before you agree to anything, get the offer reviewed so you know what you are being offered and what rights you may be giving up. Kris-Andre can review it and explain your options.
